As I said, "Not that I really mind" . It merely served as an illustration as to how expecting people to fix things for you is a bit unrealistic ^_^. Although it makes me wonder how exactly the backend works... my guess it that it doesn’t have a templating method, but can’t you somewhat easily find where it outputs the code? Like, in the ‘output news item’ function? Well, you could always just do a global search for <td> and you’re sure to find all occurances of output HTML code, haha .

That’s not what I meant, what I meant was that I will probably forget to embed my critical posts in beds of pretty flowers .

| As for Jazzy: Have you tried using double quotes ( " ) in your search query? Or -if you didn't find the topic yet- remember what the topic was about? Then we could help you find it after all.

Are you kidding? I'm a professional and of course I found the topic I was looking for. I'd hack the database if I need to.
By the way, I was looking for a topic about collecting and it was started by me. Indeeed Google did the trick: http://www.google.nl/search?hl=nl&as_qdr=all&q=collecting+homecomputers+site%3Amsx.org&meta= (2nd result) |

ah, with the same query the MRC searchengine gets a 5th position. Not -that- horrid, but improvable indeed |

Of course, this is just one sample. Nothing to be conclusive about.

Yes Grauw, I do know the search engine doesn't live up to it's acronym... still, it gets the job done in many cases (at least, many of the times I use it, and I use it frequently) and improvement is on the way... sooner or later.
