In this game, I've driven a Lamborghini, a Porsche and a Ferrari through different levels. I've seen a Mercedes too in other platforms. Is it included in the MSX version?? (I've seen it as an oponent car, but I don't know if you can drive it).

Curiously the MSX version of Crazy Cars was released in cartridge format.

It is not a bad game, and I'm sure that it would have been a huge success if published on tape format. But a 32 KB EXPENSIVE cartridge was a bit excessive for such game.

Yes, I surely do remember this game when it came out. I saw it on my local electric store which was very near my home, and I was horrified about it´s spectrum like monochrome screenshots in backside of the box (even I already had read it´s (bad) review from The Games Machine, my favourite magazine, it scored just 28%, megagame indeed) and sametime I was really much surprised and horrified about it´s price tag, 220 Finnish Marks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (37 euros!!!) Even the most expensive Konami cartridge, best MSX game ever, Nemesis 3 was just 225 Fim (or was it 195?) in other electric store in my hometown).

Again, as many other games, I tested it first time on emulator some years ago, and I completed unbelievably many (REALLY MANY) stages on very first game (and I am not best gamer in the world i think), I kept playing just to see if there is anything more in the game, and would you get too surprised, if I tell you that there wasn't any difference how far I kept playing? I do remember, that monochrome scenery in the horizon far away changed, maybe after some stages, but that´s it! Game is just too easy!!!!!!! But maybe that is good thing for little children, thought. 2)

I still keep wondering the same what I kept wondering in the end of the eighties, that WHY this horrible looking shit was programmed for MSX? (answer: for money...)

Bad, bad, bad game. One of the worst racing games for MSX.
