When I was a kid I used to have this MSX game. I couldn't finish it back then, because it was too hard (I think) and I'ld really like to try again...

It was a very primitive adventure game, though it did have graphics (mostly an image from the place your 'were at'). You had to enter commands by keyboard (like, GO NORTH etc.) I remember very little, apart from the fact that there was a canal somewhere in the game which you could cross by swimming, you could be put in jail, and by that time you had a 'file'. I remember trying to use the file to file through the bars in the jail in order to escape, but I never managed to. Thus I quit.

The images in the game were VERY primitive. Mostly straight lines, nothing fancy. The game probably is pretty old. Maybe on of you guys knows what I'm talking about?

Can anyone name this game?

Sweet! That's it Thanks for getting me over this youth trauma
FINALLY kicked this games arse! Love the way openMSX actually shreeks when loading a tape image just like my old MSX did back in the day. Makes me feel kinda melancholic. Wow. Emulation rules. Pitty I don't have my old Canon MSX anymore. Would have liked to hook it up once more, but I'm afraid it long, long dead...
