That's very nice to hear. But the question is: Do you have a Japanese one. Else the actual use of it is limited.

Trivia: we got an e-mail from a ex-msx user from the former Yugoslavia, he told us that the PX-7 was used there in large quantities for subtitling. They use the PAL TV format there. Still, I wonder what type of keyboard layout they used. Because for proper subtitling you need cyrillic characters in the Serbian part, In the Croation part they use a latin alphabet. Could be nice for collectors.

Please note that you need a Japanese PX-7 to play the MSX Laserdisk games correctly because the the output needs to be NTSC if you want to use a NTSC Laserdisk player.

The Following Laserdisk players can be used to connect to the JP PX-7:

Pioneer CLD-9000, LD-7000, LD-5000, LD-v500, LDP-150. You can also use a normal NTSC MSX1, but then you need the "MSX Expansion processor ER-101" from Pioneer.

For anyone who might be interested: I still have two Laserdisk games lying around: Cosmo Circuit (SS098-0011) and Umi Yakuba (SS098-0003). If you make a nice offer you get my MSX Pink Sox Best Characters Laserdisk with it. Both games are complete with manual.

I might be interested
Can you send me picture of all the discs?
I presume that the laserdiscs don't have any "laserdisc-rot" ?

Anyway, send me a mail with the pictures.
Thank you.

Kris.

Well, all disks have been stored at 20 degrees celcius, in an upright position. All disks where tested extensively on Kiwi's (Iwein, msx2.com) hardware at the fair in Oss 2002. Pictures of the disks can be seen in our photo shoot section (Oss 2002). I should have the original high quality images somewere still. Stay tuned.
