i dont use any music editors, i play all my music on my HiFi system, my biggest passion after MSX.

Pink Triangle turntable, Naim Nait 5i, Rega Planet CD player and Kef Q4 speakers - a lovely sound!

I just like to make and listen to music on my msx......"normal" cd-music I hear every day...for example music from msx-games(and that's what I like) you don't hear that much(or you have to buy the arranger series)

As most of you know, I use Protracker by Tyfoon soft. for composing songs with my MSX. I've started composing music with Scream and Impulse tracker for PC - MS-DOS and this FM PAC tracker is the most similar program I know for MSX.

Also, you have an impressive PRESETS EDITOR, so it's very complete.

I don't know why it's not famous

It's less famous (allthough I used it for a while between FST-pro and MB), because it lacks a few essential things, such as block-functions, 9-channel support etc. Also: a seperate voice-editor doesn't work as well as the integrated one from MB.

It's a typical example of a music program made after the programmer's (limited) musical style, rather than a music program made after a good study of what composers need now and what they could possibly need in the future. MB came much farther, tho it has its shortcomings as well (max 16 voices, 1 pattern for 2 chips (*different* chips), no custom voicename other than 'ownvoice', no way of putting your own voices in the voicelist, very limited and unuseful psg support etc. etc.),

Something knows about MuSICA Format?
I would want to build a replayer for SDCC.
Thank you.

I think that format is just MGS, and there are some replayers available for that.

I use Moonblaster (stereo & moonsound) and SCC Blaffer NT. In the past I used that Protracker thingie by Typhoonsoft, but didn't like it. Once tried Musica, but that wasn't for me I am afraid. If you want to do SCC, try SCC Blaffer NT. A really nice program with a great interface and good PSG drums. Like it!

SDCC is not SCC .. is a C Compiler.
About MGS .. i have found some of them .. and i think i could do something but .. will be better to know all the commands.
About SCC Blaffer NT .. sounds cool .. and .. where can i download some songs and info about the format of their songs?
Thank you.

SCC Blaffer NT is in the MRC download section under music/trackers.
