In the booklet of the Game Sound Legend CD-boxset a report on how Mr. Pen of Primitive Sound managed to get a crystal clear sound from turboR has been published. It involves connecting wires directly to the turboR mainboard, tho
You can already improve sound quality of the turboR drastically by taking the ground signal from anything but the turboR computer itself. I take it from my muziekmodule . |

Please SNOUT, can you give me more information about that? Can you send me the scheme of how to connect the wires to the mainboard? seems a very good information! by the way if it bothers you (illegal copy of information or something...) can you tell me where I can obtain (buy) that booklet?
And, about connecting music module (I have got one). You mean that if I connect it and take the sound out of its 2 RCA connectors I will improve the sound quality??? (bytheway... I supposed that only Music Module sound will sound through that RCA, not also FM PAC...) |

I only briefly browsed through the Game Sound Legend CD-boxset (which was already sold out) during my stay in Japan. I can ask Mr. Pen if he can send me some information on how he did it, but a reply to that one could take quite a while.
As for the Music Module: I combine the ground signal from the music module with the audio signal of the DIN plug of the turboR in order to get better sound quality. (Usually you'd get the ground signal from the DIN plug as well).

Am I the only one who thinks it's not *that* bad? Heck, I didn't even mind the ST sound that much...
