Another Norvegian band that I've just discovered with his first album : Winter Enclosure.

This band is an exclusively female band (a singer, a bassist, 2 guitarists, a keyboardist and a drummer ... but the drummer has left the band at the end of the recordings, so they are now touring with a male drummer - oh ! the lucky guy !)

The music can be viewed as gothic-doom-metal with direct rocky approach and sometimes, the singer makes me think to Anneke of The Gathering.

It seems a very promising band .... and they come from Norway like Trail of Tears and Tristania

Hmmm... Not so impressed actually...

It's just the beginning ... Of course, Mandylion (The Gathering) is better, but these girls seem to have already an original sound, that's very important for the next developments of their music.

It sounds okay. The guitars remind me of The Gathering, but the vocals don't.

By the way, the drummer is called "Kikken"?
In Dutch, that means something like "very cool".

Since the band is norwegian, I bet they point at the substantive 'kikk', which means 'look' (like in taking a look). 'kikken' is then translated into 'the look'
