| For TLW I know the memory requirements went up from 128k to 256k. With 128k it would indeed fallback to the others.
|
There's 1280kB in the used machine (turboR ST plus 1MB). No lack of memory I guess |

oke I ckecked the meridian. I sent everyone per mail a new one.
But as regards the paiii and tlw all work fine and are the good ones.
I suggest to use mbwave and see if the memory will be detected correctly and if you hear via Mbwave moonsound musics

| Solid Eric, you can still provide it with a case of you want too.
Many people upgraded indeed to 640 meanwhile.
But if you ask me there has a lot of people to follow
|
Sunrise, I have a case now, it was ready within a few months after I got the moonsound. A guy (don't know his name anymore) from Eindhoven expanded the s-ram to 256kb and put the case around it. |

No problems anywhere else. Haven't run into any demo or musicdisk with problems. And ofcourse I wanted to play some mbwave tunes on his moonsound. Nothing wrong there really... Will test his setup with another moonsound to check for differences...

Tomorrow I'll test it on another system (Turbo-R GT of smdNearDark). The memory of the moonsound is detected correctly with MBWave. As Meits earlier mentioned: all other programs I tested gave no problems at all. And would be a good idea if Meits' Mounsound will be tested in my own system.

I am interested in how many normal ram it detects. For PAIII the same is valid as for TLW as regards requirements. If it is 128K it will have the same overhere and please notice that you run the same mbwave version since earlier versions before 1.13 detecting the sram false

MBWave 1.16 detects 1024kb sram. There wasn't an opportunity yet to test with other configurations.

Please state the normal ram, I suppose 128K and that would be not enough since I think you have a philips 8250 or 8255

Normal ram is 256kb expanded with an external 1025kb memory mapper. Without the extra memory the same result. Type of computer is Turbo-R ST.
