I recall reading some time ago at a fair (prolly it was Bussum 2k4) that the MSX game reader would become available, in 2 flavors (a normal and an enhanced one) and that it would be supported by the main emulators (blue, open, nl, player). If I'm not mistaken it was an ad from Sunrise.
So I'm gonna ask; is there a gamereader becoming available in the NL soon, and if so, what are its functionalities, and what would it cost?

You should ask this question directly to Sunrise, but I guess that there are copyrights problems, otherwhise the enhanced version of the Game Reader , developed by Sunrise, should be available and the emulator's developers should have all required info to support it.

I thought you know, MSX "revival" and all, the gamereader would be a quite popular topic.

While I like Sunrise's product quality, my question was also meant to be general; there could be other providers of a gamereader.

We gonna distribute it that's a fact.
If you have visited OSS you could have seen the design and if you were late that day even the case.
We are preparing the designs for label(s), manual etc. Price will be cheaper as the japanese one.
Further details I will give later as soon as possible. You can expect very soon the official announcement. But till that time I am not gonna answer in detail
