I've got now a MegaRAM (256 KB version) thanks to djh1697 (greetings from here!) and now I'd like to know how it works. Would you please point me to any documents including technical stuff about it? It doesn't matter if they are in portuguese. My goal is to be able to load games into it using the cassette entry (as I did with the 128 KB upgraded SCC+). Of course, it is much easier using ExecROM, but I want to use it as a stand-alone thing for MSX1 computers. Any info out there?

You could download the ExecROM sources. It has quite some info in the top of the file in comments.

I made a ROM loader for MegaRAM almost ten years ago. You can find it in my web (it is called MRLOAD). If my memory serves me well it worked in this way:
- Making an OUT #8E you enable the mapper mode. It works like a Konami4/5 mapper.
- Making an IN #8E mapper mode is disabled and it works as normal RAM.
