Sounds like Street Rod (was that the name?) but then with MSX computers... I'd like it much better if it were for MSX though... |

I think it's a cool concept... I'm not sure about the whole openMSX part of it, but it'd be nice as an MSX game... Kinda like I said, like Street Rod, only with MSX computers instead of cars... The beauty of the whole thing is that's it's not too much work either... I do wonder how you're supposed to substitute the street racing bit though...

pimp my msx? Nice concept though...educational and playable...gfx should auto update fo the game itself too...first it should look like msx (1),and the more advanced it gets, the better it will look...same for the sound....so,start off in PSG,then to SCC and finally OPL4 haha

ARTRAG: No, I'm naturally born like this.
Ivan: I'm not making this, but as we already have 28 Bomber Man clones for MSX (not exact number) and 38 remakes for PC (not exact number) I think that someone could give few new ideas as well.
poke -1,(15-peek(-1)\16)*17: Yes, I think that there definately should be very realistic and good pictures of original machines. It should be possible to get even LED's working. Ofcource when you buy for example FM-PAC it will not only affect OpenMSX configuration but you can also see it and you can read original manuals as well... And while you make hardware modifications like add reset button, you'll see the motherboard. Afterwards you can see the reset button in the side of your MSX.
The educational value is quite a big when user really sees the cartridges and game covers and when he notices, that he can't insert all the goods in without slotexpander.
