In my sad quest to build an enormous pile of msx-es, I recently acquired another fine specimen to add
to the heap of junk. This fine specimen is in fact a sony hitbit,and SHOULD be white,but the previous owner must have had
a smoking habit that stained the white into a horrid yellowish white. Now, I tried cleaning it with this alcohol foam stuff,but it doesn't realy have satisfying results. You can still see what the original colour should be under the keys.
Now,does anyone have an idea what to use for this?

it may also be yellwoed because of the influence of the sun light. I heard some people use toothpaste to polish it to get the colour back... What MSXes are in your stack?

ehmm quite some, most of the nms series (except the 8000 and 8010), no 2+ and turbo r's though.
hb 201P black, ehh sanyo wavy (that grey blue one), one by fenner,daewoo dpc something 
I think all in all about...20? hehe not THAT much yet,but on my way ^_^

one or two of the same kind of MSX is kinda ok.. (a change from 8245 to 8250 can be logical, if you want more hardware-changes, or your 45 drive gave the pipe to me) (don't ask )
but say 10 MSX1's, 10 MSX2's, 10 MSX2+'s, and a turbo R is .. well, way beyond what I call 'sane' |

Ah wolf_, they look nice on my racks mounted to the wall...a nice little museum
And for video, the 8280 realy rules... and 2 diskdrives, ace !
Still....a zemmix would be nice luckily I know some koreans....perhaps one day..... |

actually,the reason why I like msx so much is the diversity of designs... a lot REALY are well designed,like the HB201P from sony.
MSX stands out in variety (in compartison to the boring 64 for instance)

I guess. I just have 2 philips models though (the 8235 and 8250) - I quite like the 8250 model (and keyboard)
I guess they also happen to be the most common models here (NL)
