I don't know anybody who wants a monitor for MSX, Amiga or their console... and I have a (free) C 1081 which works perfectly.

The Commodore/Philips monitors are great! Sure, they sometimes brake, but they don't really cost anything, usually have a good picture and can be repaired without much skill. They are ideal for testing all kinds of old and even new machines. They were so damn expensive here in Finland during their day that most people just bought TV-modulators for their machines. Only when the Amiga and Atari ST came out people started buying monitors. Now they are very popular: i have sold/repaired at least ten of them in a year. Even broken ones that i can't fix sell like hot cakes. Mailing them sucks, though. |
