That analogy would only be correct if MSX would be the raincoat, the suitcase would be the out-of-the-box OCM and 'I' would be the potential of the One Chip MSX, but I doubt you intended it that way ^_^

There's still MSX Association! The users will code new features, but -- at least -- MSX Association has to accept it as MSX! That's why the MSX community and MSX Association should work together. Think about Linux , Open MSX and Iirlicht.
Iirlicht is a open source real time 3d renderengine.
Take a look at iirlicht, and you'll be surprised.

It's hard to read what you've written! First, I meant the OCM, second, I meant the whole MSX standard!

Do you think the MSX standard will sometimes be finished? From some point of view, you also can consider it as a product!

from my point of view , what lacks is in the OCM to be a true MSX
is its own keyboard : i mean with a PC keyboard it does not look
like much to a MSX ...
