well uhm.. about wolfs poll suggestion... I think it's a bit to technical to make a frontpage poll out of it. Anyway, 55Hz is not wat you're used to and not how it was intended. So not an option at all. Besides. Why not other values between 50Hz and 60Hz... nah... it should be played in the frequency at which it was created... imho.

Demo poll... Yet one cannot vote for 'Revolution'... : :/

GuyveR800, if you point me to this demo 'Revolution' so I can check it out, I will probably add it to the current poll. Only a very few votes have been made yet, so another demo added isn't a real problem....YET.....

man, we were in need of new polls when we started this topic. Now we have more polls than we can handle Just keep on sending them polls, it might take some time before they're up though.

Yes, i did suggest a poll about what new hardware is wanted.

This also means hardware not immediately connected to an msx

like the USB cartridge reader. But at least hardware that is

msx related.

I want a MSX-USB Interface to be able to use the USB MSX Cartridge Reader!

Would be cool, then I could upload GBA games to my flashcard with my MSX! ^_^

Back on topic, I wonder what the current demographics of the MSX community are. I suggest a 'What is your age?' poll.



1. < 18 - This is the latest generation of MSX'ers, I wonder how many there are, because they did not grow up with MSX as a commercial system at all.

2. 19-24 - These people were old enough to remember the turboR being released.

3. 25-30 - These are the people that probably started MSX in the MSX2 age, or bought one of the at that time cheap MSX1 systems.

4. 31-40 - These people were in there teens when the MSX systems first appeared.

5. 41-50 - These people were already adults when the MSX was born.

6. > 60 - These are old people



I mainly wonder how the youngest generation became MSX'ers. Also it would be interesting to see how many elderly people are still using MSX. I know that back when I was young, there were quite a few gray-haired people at the local Philips Thuiscomputer Club

Yeah interesting poll. However if I remember correctly it's been done already on the old msx.org??? Anyways there wouldn't be any harm in repeating it...
