Hello everyone,
A while ago I downloaded the BlueMSX MSX emulator, and enjoyed playing the games I used to play back when I was a kid. Played all those games over and over But I remember I played a little game , a very basic (blue background, white text) text adventure . I remember I had to walk around a castle or something. For nostalgia I just like to play that game again, but I can't remember what the name of that game was.
Can anyone help me ?

A text adventure with a castle. You'll have to be a *bit* more elaborate on that before we can even start guessing what you mean here.

You might even want to do a google on 'Infocom' . Infocom is/was a system targeted specifically to text adventures, ported to many homecomputers. This made it possible to play the same adventure on a myriad of computers.

Yes, I can understand that that wasn't be specific enough, but I also said it was very basic, just a blue screen, nothing grapical, only | \ and / symbols that formed the *picture*. Come to think of it, it probably was a dutch game (yes i'm from holland)...
The other links provided (thanks) didn't give me an answer.

I do remember a book with listings from text adventures.
If I remember correctly t was called 'de 3 burchten' or something like that...
(Not quite sure but I thought this book was also in a Commodore 64 version)
Does this ring a bell??

"Het Geheim van de 3 Burchten" is indeed a text adventure, published in a book, for a couple of different home computer systems.
I've never played it though.

If it was from MCM, it could have been the game Mystery Town, which was published in The MSX Listing Book.

Hate to disappoint you "mystery tower" is indeed a dutch txt only adventure but not from MCM but from the MSX-gids (actually it is listed in nr. 8).
It starts with "Je bent op vakantie en je wilt een oude toren gaan bekijken.." also features the game rooms like de griezelkamer, de leeuwenkooi, if you want it badly I have the msxgids which contains the listing for sale on ebay |

I'm not talking about Mystery Tower, but Mystery Town, which is published in Listing Boek 1. Check it |

I recieved some games from the man behind this websites (pretty cool) *MOD* and he send me some games, including mystery town and mystery tower, and a few more, but none of them are the game I was looking for. I'll run in to it, some day, i hope.
Thanks for all you responses.
