I thought that the PX-7 with his surprising features for a MSX1 (superimposing, stereo, control of LD-700 or LD-1100 Laser Vision player) was the 1st crazy Pioneer adventure ....
I was wrong
See here :

That's a system that allows to add a SG-1000 slot to a special component display !!!
The interface is called SD-G5 or TV video game pack.
You can see it here :
http://www.ne.jp/asahi/cvs/odyssey/videogames/sdg5/info.html
It must be connected to component display (the SD-21)
Well, it's very similar to SD-R5 and SD-26 on MSX for the PX-7 computer ! |

What is SD-R5 and SD-26? I don't have them in the MSX hardware list.

From the PX-7 manual :
SD-R5 RGB system control pack
SD-26 Component display unit
Also the name of the cable to connect the I/O ports of PX-7 and LD-700 :
JC-303 System control cable
(LD-1100 does not require this special cable, but a mini-connecting cable)
