as you might know openMSX and bleuMSX have a shared database. The main problem now is that I have entries in the database that do not have an SHA1 value but only and CRC32 value. In order to make this database complete I need the SHA1 values aswell.
Since there are a lot of roms out there I cannot find all the SHA1 values I need to match up with the CRC32 values. So I'm asking you to help me out a bit. If you can please let me know! All help is appreciated.

Vampier : Take a look at the databases in blueMSX 2.4 , only 50 SHA1 codes are now missing and you can find the concerned roms in the remaining little file romdb.dat.

Sorry, but I'm working now only with the SHA1 values

Then I have nothing to match them up against
Edwin.... those are the good sha1 values... I got those already I'm missing 527 |

527 MIN the +/- 50 roms for which I don't have still found the SHA1 value (must first find again these roms) = +/- 477 roms for which the SHA1 value is in the blueMSX 2.4 database.
I work no more with CRC32, because it was an extra useless work, especially for the addition of the CAS files and their corresponding WAV files. So, now, directly, the SHA1 values ! |

As I said to do a join on the database I have I need something to tie them up against. Since you did a great job filling all the nice CRC32 values this is my foreign key at this moment. The new MSX Dev 05 roms will be included aswell. Can do an DTS on the openMSX database but that won't make much sense at this moment.
If there is data I can work with I can do virtually anything with it.

I think its time to drop the crc support in the database. If there is only 52 roms that still has only crc its probably acceptable to discontinue the use of crc. Or did I get the calculations wrong? If the number of roms with only crc are in the hundreds I think its too early to drop the crc support. What do you think?
