As you might have noticed, we currently have a forum ranking system. It gives the forum posters a status depending on the ammount of forum posts. Currently, the rankings are set this way
01 - 10 posts: msx friend
11 - 50 posts: msx user
51 - 150 posts: msx lover
151 - 250 posts: msx freak
250+ posts: msx guru
How do you feel about this ranking system? Should more ranks be added?

the statistics bar on the left side is buggy! It says im an MSX friend, but the forum calls me an MSX lover...
I don't care about these stats at all. But i hate bugs  |

well uhm.. the naming is quite inconsistent and confusing indeed. because the stats bar on the left calls all logged in members 'msx friends'. Only in the forum, there's a kind of ranking . |

I liked from the old version especially the top... It seemed professional..
This top s*cks..

about the ranking.
Some day soon, i will be called an MSX lover over here. I don't like the sound of that. I prefer to skip the lover part and become a guru right away.
love brings up dumb feelings. And calling myself a MSX lover is rubbish. Please snout, can you let me skip the lover rank????
edit: i forgot the freak rank. I prefer to skip that 1 as well.

Yeah, the 'msx addict' could be from 100-150 votes then. That way the 'msx lover' area won't be so big.
Although I have to say those titles in general don't say much.
I would be more happy with manually assigned titles and posting 'levels'.
