I 'm Updating my SVI -738 to MSX -2. I Use the instructions from Hans Otten's pages:

As the instruction says; you can choose "int." or "dan/fin" -keyboard layout.
Hans pages also contain the relevant rom files, but I assume the keyboard layout is "international" in them.

Where can I Find the relevant rom with finnish (or similar (swedish?)) keyboard layout?
Is finnish keyboard layout incompatible with some msx2 software or hardware?

I'm not sure if there actually are finnish or swedish keyboard layouts for MSX. If that machine info was complete it would've been much easier to trace this.

Yes, it exists... At least I have 738 MSX2 setup with Finnish keyboard... There are no known compatibility issues AFAIK.

This is what I mean by "finnish keyboad layout";

When I use blueMSX in the normal "MSX2" mode or "MSX2 spanish" mode, the shift + num. combinations are different. (shift + 2 is @ -mark)

But if I choose the "MSX2 Swedish" or "MSX2 Japanese" in the blueMSX machine editor the shift + 2 keypress combination is " -mark. Just as marked in a finnish keyboard.

Simply: Some of the keys are in different places than used to.
And there are on scandinavian alphabets available (ö,ä,å). (Well, I don't use those much anyway. )

This does not affect on the QWERTY -layout of the keys, so this really is'nt a fatal problem for me.
It 's just bit difficult and sometimes annoying to use different key layouts.
I assumed that a sysrom with a "finnish layout" does exist as the instructions pointed to such possibility.

Xan0ri: Eipä valitettavasti oo... Toi on vissiinkin Lammassaaren Karin (R.I.P) modaama jostain viidentoistavuoden takaa... Jollei ny kukaan sulle noita ROM:eja löydä niin täytynee joku päivä pistää toi siks aikaa tölsyy kiinni, että saa ROM:it sulle dumpattuu. Mun disk ROM on ainakin niin paska, että se on syytä napata jostain muusta konffiksesta. Onko sulla EPROMmeri vehkeet vapaasti käytettävissä?

NYYRIKKI: En omista eprommeria. On tarkoituksena tehdä silleesti että tilaan epromit tuolta partco:lta, ja pyydän että sielä samalla fläshäävät ne. Ongelmana on vaan nyt se että tilaan tavaraa isomman tilauksen yhteydessä ja se tilaus on lähdössä näillä näkymin tänään. :/ Mutta jos ei muita romeja nyt saa tähän hätään niin pitänee sitte laittaa nuo international -hässäkät. Jos sitte vaikka myöhemmin vaihtaa paremmat jonkun muun modauksen yhteydessä. Oisinpa tajunnut kysellä aiemmin.
