| Dumping cartridges to ROM

Hey.
Nothing illegal, I own the cartridges...
How can I dump my cartridges to ROM files for use in an emulator ?
I remember doing this once in the past, but I don't remember which tool and how to use it 
I found a 'Rom Xtractor' tool download on the forum, is that a good tool ?
Are there other tools ? Where can I find them ?

but i have sutch a program as a listing (is this the correct word?) in a msx magazine (MCM) just have to look it up, i know its very small so maybe i can scan it and send it to you but just one bad thing...you have to insert the cartridge at a certain moment when the computer is still on ...

If you own the original cartridge, why not download the ROM image from a suitable download site? Assuming of course that it is avaliable ?

I'm talking about Zemmix cartridges...
As far as I know, they are not available from funet.
Just my last donation to the scene before quitting.

There's one advantage with the Korean MegaROMs... they mostly use the Konami mapper without SCC type... this includes most Konami games with usually have SCC.. In such case the SCC is built into the console itself on the same slot as the cartridge slot.

Can anyone tell me how to dump the 25 games and 30 games cartridges ?
I don't seem to be able to dump those correctly...

if you mail me the initial 64K of the slot containing the games I can take a look at those.

I have a dump of the Zemina 128 games rom. Does that come in handy trying to dump the other ones?

Actually, that Zemina 126 (not 128) uses a different method than the 64, 80 and 90 ones. Check this page for more info. Those Zemina 25 and Zemina 30 might have a similar (or identical) system as the 64, 80 and 90, but to be sure it's more useful to make a first dump and check what's done.
