I'm curious what is left of both storylines. Bladerunner meets Anime Space Opera!? |

Technically, it's just 'announced', right? I mean, when submitted, there would be stuff for download... |

@ [D-Tail]: if you are that desperate to increase your postcount, why did you not post a similar remark in this earlier topic? |

I think it's the group who entered MSXdev'06 that causes such an urge to react in such a way...

What concerns the non-available downloads, it's just the same than for these news :
http://www.msx.org/Nowind-MSX-emulator-announced.newspost3475.html
Beyond the word's meaning, I see that in a case, it's good for news on the front page and in another case, it's not good for news on the front page.
Just facts ! Let's the visitors have their opinion ! |

OK, let me put this straight. I probably overlooked the topic you mentioned. I mentioned this remark simply because of the fact that 'a submission' actually means 'some stuff that some people sent in' - which isn't the case in either project, neither TT-Virus nor Cyberware.
The exact reason for me to post the remark is that I was eager to download this title and try it, as I thought the title is quite intriguing. So I surfed to the MSXdev webpage and found that the games are in development, while the topic titles suggest, that both games have been released (submitted) already.
As for you, BiFi, why don't you shut your mouth when you're not posting anything constructive. I like stuff that people made in order to keep the MSX community active. Heck, I even like the stuff you made. If you'd just stick to do what you're good at (making software, updating your website, helping people out and other stuff) I would be really happy, to say the least. Please read my request again, and read your message from 23-04-06 @13:04. Do you really believe you were posting a useful remark there?
Sorry folks, no smileys on this one. |

[D-Tail], for your understanding of the words, I must precise that the MSXdev contest has 2 steps where the word 'submit' can be applied :
- first step : submitting a project
- second step : submitting the definitive game
In the first step, the MSXdev team can refuse projects that don't respect some rules.
In the second step, the MSXdev jury will appreciate all the submitted games.
So, it's normal that in the first submission step, there's no yet downloadable files.
At the same time, it means that submitting a project can (and must) be reported as news.
Just exactly like the announcement of the Nowind emulator !!!

Mars: thanks for the elaboration. I misunderstood this meaning of 'submission', as you already know by now, but why not call that first step an 'announcement'? I mean, I guess I won't be the only one mixing this up... And even if I am the only one, remember it's just me |

It seems me reasonable to use the word "announcement" for the first step, at least for outside communication. I will discuss that with my partners ! |

If the word "submited" can cause misunderstandings, for me the use the word "announced" is ok too.
