I had to wait until today to get my copy (the limited edition) ... OMG ! The Beast is alive ! Sounds like a mix between Demonarch and Moonspell ! Probably the best Moonspell ever !!! Don't walk in the woods tonight, it's actually very dangerous !!!  |

I love the early work of moonspell (wolfheart, irreligious), but seriously disliked the stuff that came after that. What's the new stuff like?

With Memorial, Moonspell goes back to his roots. No 'easy sound' like on Sin/Pecado, no 'electronic experience' like on 'The Butterfly Effect', no direct Sisters of Mercy influence like on 'Darkness and Hope', and even different from 'The Antidote' that was still very good. No, you must imagine Wolfheart or Irreligious mixed with the black metal approach of Demonarch and a like Samael production !

The new moonspell is good. I liked "antidote" very much too.
But it think the best albums are "wolfheart" and "irreligious".
