I'm guessing why MRC is not being rated at MSX Rating

I think it's very unimportant, and kind of silly/immature to compete with other MSX sites.

especially when you already know MRC will be number 1 every day...

MRC probably a too much serious website and would not make laugh anybody to have them ranked N°1 day after day, light years in front on N°2.

I just like to note that through MSX Rating way I knew some kindly msx pages too. Look, not everybody looks competition on internet, I just review top 20 MSX pages at this rating site to know other excellents sites. Nevermind...

It looks like the server hosting the ratings is not exactly one with the capacity for high volume traffic. Linking MRC on there might overload it. So maybe it's best to leave it off that list.

I think about all reasons why MRC hasn't joined the MSX Rating system have been mentioned already, indeed.
