Hi guys, I just installed blueMSX so I could play Metal Gear 2, but I found out that blueMSX only lets me set up my controlls for only two buttons, when the MSX2 uses three buttons. Is there anything I can do to set up as much buttons as the MSX2? thanks.

Joysticks/pads on the MSX system only have two buttons. The 'third' button is probably 1+2 at the same time.

this is done by using the keyboard (MSX is a home computer, not a console). You can use the function keys for all that stuff |

In the next version of blueMSX, there is a new keyboard/joystick configuration tool which allows you to map any keyboard key to joypad buttons. This is quite cool for games like metal gear. But you have to wait for next release (or try the beta which is not 100% tested yet) |

Using the new BETA version of BlueMSX requires some patience as it responds very slowly.
Otherwise it is usable. All games that I've tested have worked as expected.
I Think BlueMSX is a great emulator.
