or use a tvbox then u can use any vga or lcd computer screen
and u can use it as tv also cause it has a build in tuner..
and u can watch ur computer screen on regular tv
so ita slot of options for less money than a new monitor..

Oh ok, don't have that prob, i build in another 220 / 2x15vc transformer in it a while back
so its works with the power we have here....
without those ugly adapters...
