Hello,
Just thought I'd mention this... allthough on the box of the Sunrise MSX Game Reader only compatibility with Windows 2000 and XP is mentioned, I tried this today and everything seems to work just fine under Windows 98(SE) as well.
Maybe it wasn't mentioned on the box because it wasn't explicitly tested and many people don't run 9x anymore, but I thought I could at least mention this one.
Didn't need to do anything special either. It just worked.

And without cas port .... like Turbo-R and some MSX2+ machines ... there's still an OS ! |

Since it now also works under win98 I assume we can continue waiting for the specs needed to write MSX Game Reader drivers for us people with a GPL'ed OS. |

it would be great to see it more widely supported...

definately.
MSXPLAYer isn't perfect either (allthough it does the job nicely).
My reason to run Windows 98 (alongside xp) is for some compatibility reasons. I bought a lot of PC games between 1996 and 2004 and the older half of them contains more than one title that "hickups" under the newer OS.
I tested MSXPLAYer to see how it would perform under Win98.
