This is the best site I have found for Amiga programming details although I'm not sure if it has exactly what you're looking for. I can tell you that the upper limit of the blitter copying speed (with CPU access to chipmem halted) is memory bandwidth (7MB/s) minus bandwidth needed for display generation (depending on screen mode) divided by two.

If was a question, there is an idea to realize an MSX on PLD (Search this site for "OCM"  . An already functional and working HW implementation already exists for CPC! Search for "TREX".
Did you ever own an MSX or CPC or worked with it?

Yes. I had spectrum, cpc, apple 2, msx2 student , msx2 techer, atari st, amiga 600, Aleste, amiga cdx, mac lc3, lc475, ppc 8100
Today I have only G4

I didn't quite get the soundspecs of the soundcard of the aleste (since I read with my ass mainly )
So it has a covox card, or something similar ?
Is it an idea to hold a trackercompetition on the aleste? .... |
