The best way to get the space manbow logo is with an MSX 2 emulator. Just make a screenshot and you have a high detailed Space manbow logo  |

That's still too low-res for a user's manual... The best thing is a super hi-res scan of the cover...

A fun idea: use a screenshot of openMSX in 4x scaling mode with hq scaler  Quite smooth, but probably too low res, still...
I just made such a screenshot, but it's not perfect. It has some rough edges still, where the hq algorithm fails. But it's at least a bit higher res than a normal screenshot. A good scan of the cover is a lot better still, of course.
If you want that screenshot, let me know. It's a 1280x960 PNG. |

yeah could be, but it's easier to recreate it from the boxlogo without any edges and suqarish shapes then from a screencapture.
they are not the same logos, one is pixeled, the one on the box ain't  so.....

What drawing program do you use pokie? There are some pixel tracers around that can convert that logo to a vector based image. Afterwards it is resizing galore.

Just for the h00t of it; here's how poke's design might look as a SpaceManbow1 game cover...  (I didn't add the II because I didn't want to mess with poke's artwork) Now all we need is someone to VHDL us an SCC+ cart with 4 smeggers of RAM and we're all set!

photoshop... even photoshop has a retrace function for vector based output, but I never use it.
