Hi !
I just wonder if someone have listened audio quality difference about panasonic wsx or turbo-r and other brand MSX2+ like Sony or Sanyo....
I have a Panasonic Turbo-R A1st and a Sony MSX2+ HB XDJ and the second have a far better audio quality....
Time ago i had a Panasonic MSX2+ WSX and had same worst audio of Turbo-R.....
Were is the problem?
There is some kind of mod to correct this flat noised and undetailed audio?
Best Regards.
Davide.

Indeed, the A1ST is known for having a lot of noise on the audio output. I didn't know the WSX shared this problem though. In case of the turbo R, it was corrected with the GT. I remember 'fixing' the issue back in the way back by putting a capacitor between the audio output and the grouding pin, plus a resistor on the audio line. It wasn't a perfect fix, but it did filter out most of the noise. I *think* it might've been a 47uF capacitor and 100 Ohms resistor, but this was more than 10 years ago, so I may very well be wrong. Try to ask a techie (maybe repair-bas knows) or just experiment with a couple of caps and a variable resistor. It shouldn't be too hard to find a combination that filters out most of the noise...
