a megapacman could really be thrilling btw
Think about it.. 4 'tiles' in a byte (2 bits for each tile, with the choice of wall, nothing, dot, megadot) a map could be like 300x300 tiles .. that's about 10x12 monitors! Now, try to imagine a wall of 10x12 MSX monitors in your place, and that's filled with a map based on 8x8 tiles..
*If* you use 16x16 tiles (think Nosh) then your map will be 20x24 monitors.. that's uh.. extremeness to the max.. ^_^ |
