yes. you can also dump your roms, disks and tapes and use an emulator.

The Sony F1-XDJ really is a good looking machine, has great OPL sound. It also works perfectly on US current, although I would recommend getting a Japanese-US transformer anyway to prolong the lifetime of the unit - the power supply is integrated, and feeding it the wrong current for years will almost certainly have a negative effect on its reliability.
I do need a memory expander though, 64K memory limit...yuck
Seems rather backward to me to have twice the amount of RAM for video operations, basic VDP or no. Like having 2 GB of RAM on your video card and only 1 GB in the system! Although at that time it probably made more sense as it was probably necessary for smooth operation of the nice high color modes.

Don't know, the WX might still have it (I think it does). Try asking the seller to be 100% sure.

The FS-A1WX does have a cassette port. Its successor, the FS-A1WSX, does not have it.
