Are there some good emulators for linux ?
Ik use Suse 10.1.

On Linux, openMSX is without any doubt the best emulator you can get. Sounds a bit arrogant from a developer, but I think everyone will agree

Apart from the 5th sprite in the status register 0 ( ) I confirm that openmsx is excellent
If you use an highres monitor/videomode you will appreciate the X3 zoom, missing in blue
(at resolution 1280x1024 the window of bluemsx tends to be too small and you need to
pass to full screen) |

You can always try blueMSXlite as well but it doesn't have a launcher like openMSX. So openMSX is your best option for Linux atm.

Emil, what distribution do you use? Oops, you already said that... Suse 10.1. I have no idea if SUSE has openMSX packages, but you can indeed always build the program yourself using the compilation guide in the manual.

Note that openMSX is also quite usable without a launcher. (Sorry, I couldn't resist ) |
