Here we have a nice guy getting some gfx from still unfinished projects:
http://sometimes.99er.net/
Even he is claiming (@ a Yahoo! Group) he is the author of the graphics, and people are givin' him lots of positive feedback from graphics taken from projects such as "MSX Invaders!" or "Malaika" |

Nice to see that recycling starts when projects aren't finished yet!

If he claims he did the gfx, we should ruin his name and let people know he's nothing but a simple thief. Is really sad to see him getting credits for something someone else has made. I can understand that he wants to reuse some nice gfx but its not that nice to claim he did it.
Btw, how was the gfx ripped? The games aren't released yet, right? Maybe that 99er dude is a member of Karoshi Corporation.....

I'd say, be creative: make a video of it (showing the originals, then the 99 website, then the ripped ones) and place it on youtube. And post the youtube link on that 99 website |

look around. When I fell over this similar image, I knew I had to do
something like that for the TI-99/4A......
|
I understand the fuzz but isn't he claiming that he found the image and wanted to 'port' it to TI-99?

Noone has got MALAIKA.ROM (and sources) but me. He must have picked up the .gif at MSXDEV Team site and split patterns and sprites and redo it.

He says he uses a C# program to convert the images he "creates" to screen2.

viejo: this one is intriguing : "Cover girl Unplugged". If I good understand, he's using a converter to rip the graphics, a text editor to change the texts and MESS to make some personal additions (animations in assembler for example). In some cases, the source code of the assembler part is available.
