Hi,
This newspost stated: Quote:
| Next week, MRC will release a set of Italo-oriented samples which could be used with Moonsound and MSX-Audio. These size-optimized samples could provide extra motivation and inspiration for those who need it.

I need it! Where is it?

The point with 'raw' format is that everyone can choose the way to trunc them, leaving much more options. If the kit has 44/16, then one can choose 22/16, 44/8, 22/8, 11/16, 11/8 etc. that's flex!
also: MSD made a tool called WAV2MTN that converts wav to ... mtn .. |

I need more info before I can say something that makes sense... do you have samples laying around but don't know how to make Moonblaster tones or waves from them? Or don't you have waves at all? etc. etc. Tell us more! |

I have microsoft wave files or i can make them easily. (I have a Sonar workstation in my PC with a mixer, two keyboards, drum modules...) I don't know: how to make the wave files being readable by moonblaster, I think it is easy to edit the tone once it is inside the program. I must convert wave files to WMV extension isn't it? how long the waves can be? I hope being more precise now...
thanx, Nilo Reis

Waves can be 64kb (minus some, dunno exactly, but 64kb is way oversized anyway)
Save wave as 'wav' and use msd's Wav2Mtn tool, or save as raw.. that's all.

Ok, let's see... I can use a wave file of more or less 64k, (44.1khz can it be?) and I use this tool Wav2Mtn... Now I have a MTN file ritght? this file is loadable by moonblaster as a tone?
If the answer to all questions is yes, i understood. Thanx for your guru helping ! |
