Thanks to a Spanish user who gave us the original tape for MSX and the work of Martos, now a TOTALLY RARE game like TIME SCANNER is available in PERFECT CAS format, for preservation purposes.

It has in-game music, good playing and it's a cool arcade conversion, converted from Speccy version I have enjoyed it

It's not the only RARE game Martos has preserved. Last week Martos dumped ROAD WARS of Melbourne House - Virgin for MSX, for example.

Yours,

PS: Because the policies of MSX.ORG I can't provide downloads or URLs. Sorry.

Well, it's not a link, but try searching on google for "Imágenes de cintas MSX"

P.S.: don't forget the quotes for best results

Hey, I've been searching this other pinball game for a long time. I can't recall the name.
I had it on tape when I was a kid.
Hmm... Somehow I relate it to the game Choro-Q..?? I think the game start screen was look-a-like. (I can remember wrong...)
So, maybe same manufacturer/producer..
Can somebody help?

What pinball games there are for MSX in general?

It was ROLLERBALL!!
I'm gonna spend tonight with it.
Superb game!

I remembered the name to be something like "matsuoka", but mr. matsuoka seems to be the writer of this game.
Getting older seems to mess your personal vram in your brains, hehe.

Do not forget Score 3020. I love this pinball game. Nice graphics and concept. It's from Topo Soft, spanish company.

strange scrolling though... a screen change like rollerball would've been better....

On the original Speccy version it has the same strange scrolling, but it doesn't change the great gameplay . I like it.

only_69: Do you really love SCORE 3020? I am still shocked about the bad quality and gameplay of this game even in the supposedly best version, the Amstrad CPC port

by the way, in Time Scanner it says it's developed by Spidersoft... is that the same spidersoft who later did Pinball games for the PC? (Pinball Dreams 2, Pinball Mania, and others) ?

I do remember having fun with a certain pinball game, a long, long time ago. You could create your own pinball course, by editing a field with lines, bonus things, flipper things and whatnot, and save (to CAS) and play it afterwards. Normally it was all in monochrome, but you could use colours in your own tracks from a pallette of 16. I think there was colour spill, so it must have been screen 2. Can anyone put a name to this description?
