I created a small database with info about the msxdev'06 games. In blueMSX you can just unzip the file into the 'Databases' directory. in openMSX you need to copy the contents of the xml and paste into softwaredb.xml.

If you find anything that is wrong, feel free to update the database |

I created everything except Monster Hunter which is most of the file But yeah, the credits for Monsterhunter should go to Vampier Anyways, Its was missing the two latest versions of night city though.
I added these roms and uploaded a new version to: http://www.bluemsx.com/msxdevdb2.zip |

something tells me that this whole mapper thing is yet another for MSXDev megaroms in 2007, and another for 48kb roms ..

I suppose it would be best to restrict the mapper to either ASCII8, or Konami SCC for games with SCC. ASCII8 is probably the mapper that is best supported by flash carts and rom loaders.
I think it could be a good idea to provide source code for the mappers in asm and c so people don't need to write their own.

With entries like Monster Hunter switching back to 48kb? I think it's only a matter of time before they will update the roms to work with standard mappers.
