i just bought nemesis 2 with a scc switch. the game and sound work fine, but when i switch off the game, most other software crashes, like when i try to load scc tracker software, i says, "scc found on port 1"but then the msx 2 (8245) reset itself. Games also dont load, same as the tracker software. i get the first screen "scc found"but then nothing..... the game hangs up.

hope some one can help me

Hmm... with cartridges getting older and older this -might- just be a matter of cleaning the contacts of the cartridge... as the game itself works fine, there might be something wrong with the switch (design) as well, though...

i cleaned the contacts of the cartidge, but it still resets or hangs, is there a proper manual on the net, so i can scheck the bypass?

It doesnot have to mean that you bought a bad cartridge of nemesis2 /scc Are you able to mention titles of what you tried assuming you have the originals of the other Konami's with scc. Since I think that also can be the case bad hacked ,memory issue. In other words might be the game or program itself as well.

Just try to switch the game back on just after "beep". This should prevent the game from running but should enable SCC for applications. If the switch is connected before SCC chip, this is what may happen when switch is in "off" position when external application is launched.

just check the pdf file, msxrestarter put here (thx for that), and my cartidge is different, and not that good done. Cause of the age of the game i will look further for a good one, i like nemesis, and i dont like to break it . so if any one has a cartidge that he can part of, with scc switch, let me know. I live in the netherlands.
