QBasic is similar to the old Microsoft Basic.
It is possible to convert some old games to MSX computer.

Prolly not, as far as I know both BASIC's, the old M$ BASIC was like MSX Basic, while QBasic was way more procedural, with functions,subs, types.. etc. Also, when a game uses VGA for its screens then you'll have another problem on MSX, as the VGA is way faster.

It has PASCAL that it's the procedural language per excellence. There's no need for a MSX procedural BASIC

Not sure about procedural basic, but on MSX it's either BASIC for simple purposes or ASM for fast purposes (games, demos, tools). Pascal and C never really ruled the scene (tho some ppl do use C on MSX).
It might also be related to the limited memory on MSX..? dunno..

Well, PowerBasic unlike QBasic and MSX-BASIC don't has screen mode 8. It is possible to use Assembly and Basic instructions. About the speed, it is possible to use graphic MODE X libraries to reach 256 colors on screen.

IBM VGA was not the first ot use 256 colors on screen!

Well, there is another MSX-basic, "Delta-basic", and iirc this one use procedures.
