I am a owner of the Yamaha CX5M. As the cartridges created for its synthesis capabilities are incredibly hard to come by, I was curious as to how one could get around this. I found a site with the ROM Images. Problem is, how to get the ROM on a cartridge... I purchased a 4k blank cart, which turns out to be much to small (It needs to be at least 16k if not 32k). I had noticed something about the cart that will read flash cards. Can someone please give me links to any companies sites that sell this sort of thing? Also, if there is anyone making or selling old stock blank carts in the 16k or 32k size. I would prefer not to spend $100 but anything less would be cheaper than tracking down the Yamaha carts or having to buy a whole new CX5M just to get my hands on one. Any help, suggestions, or opinions would be greatly appreciated. I am terribly amateur when it comes to these sorts of things so please, have mercy.
