Hi,
I'm looking for the application Midi2Opl4. It was linked from The Ultimate MSX FAQ but the link is dead. Does anyone know where I can find it?

I remember a tool which plays incomming midi data on opl4...
It's in the software section of our long dead DISK magazine which is in the downloadsection here...

Yes, its that program. not sure what the latest version is. Now the next qutestion. Any ideas how it works? When I start the program and connect a MIDI keyboard, i can see keys being pressed but there is no sound. And all 16 channels in the editor show Grand Piano.

The problem was that the default sound in midi2opl4 didn't work for some reason, but if I changed instrument everything started working. Also I had to control everything from my keyboard but I didn't know that.
Pretty cool anyways, I ran it all in bluemsx and it worked quite well actually. I hooked up my USB/Midi keyboard to my pc, started the emulator and started rocking  |

Hmm, on DISK 6 there is version 0.4, while Erik used to have version 0.6 on his web site.
Does anyone have version 0.6??

0.6 is the latest version, I just got the sources from Erik Maas. I'll try to arrange to get it on a public place, e.g. the MRC downloads database.

I can wait for the binary. It seems to work quite well in the emulator. so I mainly want to test the newer version and see whats improved and fixed.
