I did not manage to finish the game because of the japanese texts in the 80's, it would be nice to have an english or spanish translation of this game.

I remember to finish it with no idea about Japanese language... but a long time has passed since that moment and now I don´t feel prepared to do ir again.

Goemon and Hinotori are examples to translate into English at least so we could understand what's going on in the game.

AFAIK Ganbare Goemon is so very Japanese that it's hard to translate. It's a cultural thing...

May be some games in japanese can be finished without translation, but it is better to know all that happens in the game, e.g. I always wonder the meaning of the texts that appeared in Hinotori whenever you touched those birds statues. The game can be finished without this piece of information, but it is not as rewarding as it can be.

Amen. A game like Nyncle Racing is perfectly playable in Japanese but the English language just gives the game that little extra "value". But I must agree with Manuel that some games are just to "Japanese" to translate. Take Compile's Dragon Quiz for example. Would be easy to translate all the questions but nobody would know the answers because a lot of them are about the Japanese MSX scene in the 80's-90's.
