well, my coding skills, as far as MSX goes, do not exceed MSX Basic level 
I can draw a little, but I don't know the MSX limitations well as far as sprites are concerned.... I've used some tracker programs on PC so I could potentially make (crappy) tunes, and that's about it

Nah, don't walk-through that game. It'd spoil all the fun. BTW, I could give little hints if you're stuck somewhere, and I don't doubt there's many more of those people who can help you... Spill them beans!
