Yes there is, that's what I've been using in fMSX/S60 from the beginning. The name of the function is User::ResetInactivityTime() |

Yes, but this is circumventing default system behavior. By default, the phone should dim if no keys are pressed for a period of time. Goddamn E62 does dim, but for some reason never comes back, when DSA is being used.
On the other hand, this would be cool to add as a user-configurable option . Thanks! |

Hi. I have tried 3.3.1 today. Now I can see the screen without being in a 100% dark room, but still looks dark. Like, without vivid colors...
Other question, is it normal to have a bugged sound in E62? Looks like e62 is not fast enough to process Space Manbow sound... Is that true? Accurate sound only on faster symbians?

Try setting the new "Backlight" option to "Always On". If it still does not help, then there is nothing that can be done there: it is a bug in the E62 firmware.

Not really, E62 should be sufficient to render sound. That said, fMSX converts all non-wavetable sound into melodic sound (i.e. volumes and frequencies), so it may not sound 100% authentic. |

Its already with the "Turned On" option setted.
I'll try to make a video cap with my digital cam so you can see it? Do you want to see?

Naaah, I do not need to see it: seen it already It is a bug in the E62 firmware, too bad it can't be worked around by forcing the backlight on. Let's hope Nokia fixes it with some firmware update. |

I am amazed how good is this version of fMSX for Symbian. Even better than the pocketpc emulator.
But on my N95 it runs too fast. 20% faster than it should.
Do you guys know a way to make some frameskip or speed control? Could not find any setting like this.
Thank you!

Just released fMSX-Symbian 3.4. It fixes the speed problem and several instabilities that have been introduced in the last release. Get it at http://fms.komkon.org/EmuSymbian/ |
