What does "DIRECT STATEMENT IN FILE" mean every time I try to load the rom?
Someone help me!

You really should not try to load rom files through basic of msx.Rom files should be loaded through msx dos with the program loadrom or other rom loaders.The reason is that msx does not know what to do with those files that's why you get the error.Rom files are dumps of real cartridges and are not meant to be loaded through basic although as i told you earlier the web address is this http://www.alsoftware.com.br/adrianpage/index.php?page=msxexec
and this one has another program like this http://www.msxarchive.nl/pub/msx/utils/trunks/loadr10.lzh
As i told you you need to have more ram than the rom you are trying to load.So vampire killer is 128 kbytes,if when you boot the machine it says "128 kbytes of video ram and 128 kbyte of user ram" then you only have 128.That is the ram of your computer.
So it may not work.If you don't have enough ram to run it send me a pm and i will tell you what to do to run it.
