no...Just look at the column PC 34-Pins (Floppy connector)... at row 2 you'll find ( Density 1)

anyway in my case works perfectly with the configuration i send in my first mail.
(note that I tried with different drives and it worked)

About the function of Pin2 of pc drives we 'd need an explanation by an expert.
(I read an article in the past saying that not all drives can auto-detect 720k / 1,44Mb)

I'm sorry but i cant go into deeper explanation because i dont have the knowledge.

I hope I didnt confuse you instead of help !

The pin 2 is of no real practical use on standard MSX, seems that is only faked on TR computers. All my drives are modern ones; so they don't have jumpers, I must to fake manually the RDY signal and swap manually the letters by means the 10 & 12 pins (or 6 & 7 from the philips connector view). Anyway I remember that in my first attempt, the drive letter was the usual B: and although it can't boot software it works fine as it meant to be.
The only minor problem I haven't fixed yet is the slight interference on the TV screen every time the drive starts spinning, IIRC with a pair of voltage regulators it can be easily solved.
If it's needed I can open the 8245 and retest the actual pinout of the adapter I'm using; as I've told before, it works fine with all the standard PC drives I've tried. Of course I'm not using an external DC PSU, I'm powering the drive with the original power connector that fits (a bit tight maybe) the original drive male connector.

about those lines in you screen

i read that that it because of wrong voltages

if you remove spool L2 on the powerprint in your computer and bridge it it should be fixed
