I saw somewhere someone released MSX versions of ColecoVision games?

As far as i remember the soundchip is not the same in MSX and ColecoVision.

By the way if anyone have ColecoVision assembler sources, i am very interested, cause i will release Memotech version Memotech and Colecovision have same soundchip i know for sure, and same VDP and CPU i already released a space-invaders clone, where i got the assembler source - actually you can read more on www.mtxworld.dk

Being based on the same chips doesn't guarantee an easy port of software. The functions of the Coleco sound chip could easily be done by the PSG. Problems weren't much bigger than that.

I noticed that the specs of the MTX say that it runs at 4 MHz. Is that true or just rounded? In that case, it would run slightly faster. Not taking the M1 delay on MSX into account. Also I didn't see anything about the memory layout. If, for instance, the video memory is mapped into the address space directly instead of just being accessible through the ports, then porting anything would not be trivial at all.
