Metal_Geart: sorry, at the moment I can't elaborate more, because it's been five years at least since I last finished PA3. I could, however, look up the walkthrough I've got somewhere (iIrc it was Rikusu under the alias of 'Rieks', who submitted it to a certain XSW-magazine, halfways during the nineties!). Rikusu, if you're reading this, please do respond. That would save me the effort of finding the XSW mags in the attic

D-Tail: thanks for the advice. That PA3 walkthrough would be great (or at least chapter 4 about the Katana Labyrinth)!
But if someone else (perhaps Rikusu) remembers it from the XSW magazine ofcourse that would be great too and save D-tails time. I don't recall those magazines at all actually, were they new back then, like the sunrise disks or was it a paper mag?
I haven't figured this chapter out yet, so I would still like some help, since it's a great game and I would love to finish it!

It is even better it is complete solution 'manual' -indeed by rikusu- .So you haver not to seek in xsw magazines d-tail(waist of time)
I remember that I asked Mari of XSW it a time ago since they published it. I asked to publish it again -he had no problem- but since its Rikusu's work , maybe he wants to coop.

So the walkthrough was like an extra manual, not "in" but "with" the magazine then?
Is there anyone who owns this manual and is willing to "spoil" (NOT, I'm stuck!) my chapter 4 problem?
I understand that Rikusu was indeed the author, perhaps you are willing to help?

Now come on Metal_Geart, show some perseverence and just speak several times to everyone and you'll definately have enough hints to go on.
Even I did it, more than 10 years ago

Sorry Manuel, I have walked through every adventure and non-adventure map at least twice and talked to everyone "I could find" and still I haven't found anyone talking to me about vases... The levels of my dudes are so high that I only need to blink at the bad guys and they die... I was having a lot of fun playing the game, but now I'm just plain stuck and don't know where to look anymore. Can you please help me out?
At least I'm showing some perseverance trying to get you guys to help me , doesn't that count for something?

Metal_Geart: suddenly I recall something. "When there's one, go South." Furthermore, some dude in that area says something that has to do with 'going clockwise'. Which iIrc means: "When there's two vases, go West; When there's three vases, go North and go East when there are four vases". Count the blue vases in the room!

D-Tail: Thanx! The first thing you mention (one=south) I already knew, but the other things are new to me:
- I haven't met anyone in the same area that says something about going clockwise, but I will go through Santa Monica again to see if I can find him/her.
- I didn't know that it only applies to the blue vases, but that might make the difference! Also I haven't met anyone telling me that, hopefully this person is also to be found when I visit Santa Monica!
I'm going to try it right away! Thanks again.

@Metal_Geart: It's true that I have written that walkthrough that was published by XSW. I don't have it here, though, and I'm afraid I can't remember any more details than those that D-Tail already gave. The blue vases are the key; I don't think you're required to find the npc who gives you the hint in order to be able to clear the labyrinth, but I'm not sure. So, it should be something like:

One blue vase = south;
Two blue vases = west;
Three blue vases = north;
Four blue vases = east.

You should be able to figure it out this way.

Okay, so I just wandered around Santa Monica DT again and the part about the blue color I should have noticed before, because this Mark guy says the words ONE and MORE in blue as he must have told me all the times before.
But still there is no one to be found that tells me I'm looking for vases or the clockwise tip. Following Rikusu's feeling that it might not be necessary to find this person in order to clear the maze I went back to the Temple Cellars again.
Here I find tiny alcoves containing what might be vases... There are red, green (at least on my TV) and/or no vases in the alcoves. I can't find any blue vases... So perhaps I'm color blind so I just followed up the tip on the green vases, but it just doesn't make sense anywhere...
Are the vases I'm looking for really blue or more or less green?
Is the maze even in the temple cellars?
I found three ladders down to these cellars going to 2 individual unlinked parts, but perhaps there are more?
In short......still need help (did go up 2 levels again though ).

The Katana labyrinth is not the SAME as the temple cellars, if that's what you mean. Iirc, it was a green labyrinth. I don't really recall the color of the vases, but they were probably blue, as D-Tail said. The Katana labyrinth is the maze that doesn't seem to make sense because it never seems to end and you seem to be getting at the same point over and over again, unless you follow the vase sequence. Is it really that labyrinth you're stuck in, or haven't you even arrived there yet?

Ah, well if the maze is not the same as the cellars, then I probably am not in the maze. I thought the cellars were the maze and that I had to look for the vases in the cellars. How can I tell if I'm in the maze? The cellars themselves aren't really green...
Where is the entrace to the maze to be found then?

Oke, that's quite simple , mari had no objection to the fact to publish -more clear sell them as I did.
For that it sounds fair that if it's your text you have a say in it
