On my old Turbo-R (A1ST). The big C(Something), are a little bit noicy. It looks good shape and works.
Its the One close to the power Suply.

I think its maybe 16 or 25volt 10.000uf.

Is 10.000 really needed in turbo-r ?

That is around 10amp

I think i better replace it soon. But i remeber it had a bit noice before, actually u have to liste carefully.

I think the noice comes from that part.

I'm not really sure about that; but, doesn't the noise comes always from the PSU?, I've several other machines from countries where the mains is 60Hz and usually when powered at 50Hz the PSU hums loudly (I still have a (not MSX) machine with the PSU unscrewed and the brick not only hums but it's constantly vibrating and jumping!)
