Can the power fail from be from a damaged Diod

It can. However, electrolytic capacitors also die from old age, which is much more likely than a faulty diode. They tend to dry out over time and cause all sorts of problems. You probably experienced an internal short inside the capacitor. Just replace it.

Damn

I replaced it, it didn help.

Its like no power is reaching the CAP now, i mesure on the + and - at the big CAP, i get nothing.
When i mesure on the CN1 (power), i get 20v as expected. So i think ether is the regulator dead ?
or the D2 og D3 as only D2 and D3 are connected to the big CAP.

If its the regulators, can they be replaced by 7812 or 05 ?

More help needed please

I did more working. The L5 i looks like this.....

CN1:
L5
3--------- (a)|~~|(d)

1--------- (b)|~~|(e)

2--------- (c)|~~|(f)

Pin 3+1=20v ac and pin 2+1=20v ac from powersuply. when check a,b,c ofcause the same. but d,e,f the e failed. as far as i think, i should massure 20v between d and e - and f and e. Can i just shortcut b-e ?

forget the last part here, its totaly wrong.

but it still seems like a <-> d is ok and c<->f but not b<->e ?

20v is to big

it's not the good tranformer replace by a 220v 2x15v

L5 is a self use for protect supply don't strap it -> turbo-r died

replace all the part and check 5v 12v -12v and if it's warm on all component of supply

but it have always worked with that power suply? So i think 20v is ok, but i can try to change it to 15v or so.

What parts do you think i should change?

by the way, my current Power Suply is 2x18v, but maybe its 2x20 now because of 230v not 220v

Maybe the overload killed some parts ?

this one 2x15v is ok

check : on D7 +12V , on D6 -12v , on IC10( YM2413 FM) chip pin 1 and 16 +5V

Going from 220 to 230 would give you 18.8V.
But even then, it's unlikely a couple of volt extra would kill. A decent power supply should be able to handle that.
The diodes in the rectifier can probably handle a couple of hundred volt, the capacitors should be at least
1.5 times the running voltage and stuff like the 7812 can take about 40V on its inputs.

If you did get a short in the capacitor that died, it could have burned out a rectifying diode (or the rectifier, I don't know what's in there). The current surge caused by the short can do that.

By the way, I don't think Jipe's advise above of checking the +5V on the FM chip is the right one. It is far better to disconnect the power supply from the Turbo R completely during testing and only reconnect it when it's fixed.

it's not easy to deconnect the 5V because all components supply and I C are in the same board

ok, I didn't know that.
